## Overview

Comfort Make-A-Wish (CMW) is a humanitarian nonprofit dedicated to restoring hope and opportunity in underserved communities through education, healthcare, and empowerment. When they approached me, they had no existing brand or digital presence, only a powerful mission.

I built their identity from the ground up by designing the logo, defining a cohesive visual system, and creating the website experience, including the structure, page flow, and website copy that clearly communicate their mission, programs, and impact. The goal was not just to make it look good, but to translate a heartfelt mission into a clear and compelling brand presence that can connect, inspire, and grow with the organization.

## The Challenge

With no existing brand or website, the challenge was twofold:

- Create a visual identity that conveys hope, unity, and empowerment - Design a website that makes it easy for supporters to connect, donate, or get involved

The solution had to feel both personal and professional, scalable for growth, and emotionally resonant across audiences — from donors to volunteers.

## Our Approach

We developed a brand identity rooted in symbolism and accessibility. The logo features a rising sun and an abstract human figure, representing hope, outreach, and empowerment. Enclosed in a circle, the mark reinforces CMW's commitment to community and unity.

I co-created this visual identity with a designer collaborator, finalizing the logo while defining the full design system:

- A warm and vibrant color palette - Friendly and readable typography (Bw Modelica) - Symbolic patterns and simplified shapes for graphic cohesion

This foundation guided the design of the website at comfortmakeawish.org, built for clarity, trust, and engagement. I created custom page layouts, mobile-responsive designs, and clear pathways for action.
